Author's Biography


Valjeanne Jeffers is a graduate of Spelman College, a member of the Carolina African American Writers' Association (CAAWC), a member of the Horror Writers Association, and the author of ten books including: her Immortal series and Mona Livelong: Paranormal Detective I & II.  Her series The Switch II: Clockwork (Books I & II combined) was nominated as the best ebook Novella of 2013. She was also chosen as a Seer (2016) by the Horror Writers Association (HWA).

​Her  writing has been published in numerous anthologies including: 100+ Black Women in Horror; Steamfunk!; Genesis Science Fiction Magazine; The Ringing Ear: Black Poets Lean South (as Valjeanne Jeffers-Thompson);  Griots: A Sword and Soul Anthology; Liberated Muse I: How I Freed My Soul; PurpleMag; Drumvoices Revue; Griots II: Sisters of the Spear, Possibilities; Black Gold; The City; Fitting In; Sycorax's Daughters; Luminescent Threads: Connections to Octavia Butler, Blerdrotica, and Slay: Stories of the Vampire Noire.



Valjeanne is also the screenwriter of the film production of The Switch II: Clockwork (based on her novel: The Switch II: Clockwork).

Author's Biography



Quinton Veal is a native of East Saint Louis, Illinois, an artist and a writer. Quinton is the author of: The Her Black Body I Treasure ; United Souls: Stories and Poetry of Seduction; The Collected Works of Quinton Veal; Fire and Desire; Cybernetic Love, and Cosmic Storm. He also co-edited Scierogenous: An Anthology of Erotic Science Fiction and Fantasy (Volumes I & II).

His art has also been featured in the O.T.H.E.R. S.C.I. F.I. Magazine, and Genesis Science Fiction Magazine Summer Issue 2012, and his writing has been published in Poetic Gumbo; I Want My Poetry To . . . Volume II; and Blerdrotica. His digital portrait, Queen in Tears, also appears on the cover of the 2014 Fall edition of Reflections Literary and Art Magazine.

Quinton is also the executive producer of the film production of The Switch II: Clockwork.
